Why My Students Excel
More than just private music lessons, paradiddles or fills. We teach students to become better
performers.
We organize and direct 2 large scale annual recitals.
Every six months the student is actively working toward performing in front of a crowd. This helps students to stay
focused and remain motivated. We also provide access to smaller shows throughout the year. Our goal is to provide
many opportunities for student talent to be showcased.
Students learn drum solos, drum
duets, acting, synchronized
drumming (with up to 40 students) and play songs with a professional
band. This provides a balanced and well rounded musical education. We teach the value of playing together
which is at the very core of playing in a band or a drum line.
In addition , throughout the year, we facilitate drum camps,
and drum clinics with special guest presenters. This is very important
as the more exposure each student makes with a variety of drummers, styles and influences, the quicker the students will
grow in their abilities .
Thank you for taking the time to consider having me to be your
instructor. I am extremely dedicated to the art of drumming and look forward to helping you understand how to play the
drums.

D r u m s t i c k
By Jake Zeiner
I am a drumstick. There are many things I can hit. I crash the symbols and pound
the drums. Sometimes, I just hit the rims or the other stick. Jake throws me through the air and I soar high,
then come back down and he catches me (most of the time). I can also hit cowbells and tambourines on a drum set.
Sometimes Jake doesn’t use me at all, because he forgets or doesn’t have time to
practice. I know he feels bad and misses me when this happens.
I love being Jake’s drumstick! I get to go places with him. He takes me to
drum lessons with Mr. Ed and concerts, which is very exciting!
Jake lets other kids use me on his drum set. They’re okay, but I like Jake better.
I do like it when he lets his niece & nephew play, though, because they’re cute and adorable!
Jake has gotten stronger since he started playing drums. He hits harder and faster now.
I haven’t been broken yet, but I know that day will come very soon.
